Dr Anna Pham
Practice PrincipalQualifications: BSc(Med)MBBS(UNSW), FRACGP. Conjoint senior lecturer (UWS)
Interests: Antenatal shared care, peadiatrics, adolescent mental health, contraception and family planning, skin cancer removals, caring for the elderly. Travel medicine. Cosmetic Medicine.
Dr Anna Pham graduated from the University of NSW in 2001. She has been working at PFMC since it first opened in 2006, and took over ownership of the practice in January 2007. Dr Anna first arrived in Australia in 1983 at the age of 7. She is from a working class family, and lived through the challenges of being poor, a refugee, and English as second language.
She is the first in her family to enter and complete university. Her upbringing has taught her resilience, the value of hard work, family, education, future planning, and most importantly, gratitude.
She chose medicine as a career choice for 2 reasons. Dr Anna wanted to give back to the community, to serve people, and to show gratitude through serving others. Secondly, she is a “people advocate”. She believes in standing up for those, who cannot stand up for themselves. If she didn’t make it into medicine, Dr Anna would have studied law.
Dr Abdalla Hakam

Interests: Orthopedics. Dermatology, skin cancer removal.
Dr Hakam has been working at PFMC since 2007. He is a much sought after GP with a large loyal patient base.
He is a kind, patient, and warm doctor who enjoys all types of sports, with his favourite sport being soccer. He also enjoys travelling with his family.
Did you know, that in 1989, Dr Hakam survived a horrific aeroplane crash over Libya!
Dr Zoran Nestorovski
General PractitionerQualifications: FRACGP, MBBS (University of Queensland), BAppSci(Orthoptics)Hons1(USyd), DOBA
Interests: Family medicine, preventative primary care, mental health, skin cancer and minor surgical procedures, complex and chronic medical conditions, Kids health.
Dr Zoran graduated from the University of Qld in 2000 and joined the PFMC team in 2008, where he has also built a large, and loyal patient base. He also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Orthoptics which he obtained from the University of Sydney with 1st Class Honours in 1996 and was awarded a Diploma of the Orthoptic Board of Australia in the same year.
As one of the practice’s senior GP, he relishes in his role as a medical supervisor of both GP Registrar’s and medical students and together with Dr Anna, teaches and mentors the next generation of doctors coming through the system. He has been a Clinical Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since 2009.
Dr Zoran has many interests which have included medical research, exploration into complex health care, and participating in ongoing professional development. His musical tastes are varied and include everything from Katy Perry to rap music (yes rap music), however – his most passionate interest of all – is spending all his spare time with his son.
Dr Jesse Hall

Interests: Paediatrics and Family Medicine, Palliative Care, Chronic disease management, Men’s Health, Mental Health, Travel Medicine, LGBTI Medicine.
Born and raised in Macarthur, Dr Hall completed his medical degree at Western Sydney University as part of the medical school’s first graduating class. He completed his internship and residency in Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals where he was able to further pursue his interests in Paediatric medicine and Mental Health.
In 2014 Dr Hall began his fellowship training in General Practice by joining PFMC. He quickly found himself at home in the Wollondilly community and amongst the always interesting PFMC family. Though his training requirements forced him onward the following year, Dr Hall was thrilled to be able to return to Picton in 2017 having completed Fellowship training, with his new family in tow.
Dr Hall has fond memories of reading and hockey but finds all his time consumed by his wonderful daughter, and making painstaking progress in home renovations. He hopes to be able to pack up the toolbox sometime prior to retirement.
Dr Joshua Stephenson
General PractitionerQualifications: FRACGP MBBS (Hons) (Western Sydney)
Interest: Sports and Musculoskeletal medicine, Dermatology, Lifestyle medicine and chronic disease management, Men’s Health, Mental Health, Travel Medicine, Veterans Health.
Dr Josh graduated from Western Sydney University in 2011. He came first in his class and received the Derek and Shirley Howe’s award for excellence in his studies. He completed Internship and Residency at Concord Hospital. Dr Stephenson spent the next 4 and ½ years working as Medical Officer in the Army, spending time posted to Townsville, and Sydney.
During this time he was lucky enough to Deploy to the South Pacific on 2 occasions to provide assistance in Disaster Zones.
He has been practicing at PFMC for the last 2 ½ years, first as a Registrar and now as a Fellow, completing his Fellowship in early 2017.
During his time in the Army, due to the nature of illnesses and injuries seen, he developed an interest in managing Musculoskeletal injuries and Mental Health issues, and has fostered this through his studying a Masters of Sports Medicine and Diploma of Football Medicine and through his membership of Sports Medicine Australia and Sports Doctors Australia.
He is also interested in Lifestyle approaches to managing chronic illness, and is an Associate Member of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine.
In his spare time Josh enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Samantha. He is an avid Runner and voracious reader.
Dr Nirusha Karunaratne
General PractitionerQualifications: MBBS, DipCH
Interests: Women’s health, Paediatrics, chronic disease management, mental health and travel medicine.
Dr Nirusha Karunaratne graduated from the University of Western Sydney in 2013, where she was awarded the obstetrics and gynaecology prize. She completed her internship and residency at Nepean Hospital. She has also worked as senior resident medical officer in obstetrics and gynaecology at Westmead hospital where she gained experience in antenatal care and women’s health.
She is also interested in paediatrics and has completed the diploma of children’s health through the University of Sydney whilst working in paediatrics at Wollongong Hospital.
Nirusha enjoys playing netball, cycling and travelling.
Dr Daniel Buckingham

Interests: Lifestyle medicine and chronic disease management, Paediatric Health, Men’s Health, Mental Health.
Dan graduated from MBBS at Western Sydney University in 2014. He had previously completed a Bachelor of Social Science (distinction) at Western Sydney University. He completed his undergraduate years at Wollongong hospital and an additional year in Emergency and Intensive Care.
Currently a GP Registrar, he hopes to complete his training while working at PFMC and remain working in this region long term.
Dan has a strong interest in paediatric care, lifestyle medicine and mental health. He completed a Diploma in Child Health in 2017.
His spare time is spent with his beautiful wife Kristen and 2 young children.
Dr Craig Mattern
General PractitionerQualifications: MBBS, FRACGP, DAME
Interests: Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine, Medical Education, Men’s health, Mental Health, Military Medicine.
Dr Craig Mattern completed his training as the first graduating cohort from Western Sydney University School of Medicine in 2011.
He completed his internship and residency and St George and Sutherland Hospitals and was first introduced to PFMC as a hospital doctor on rotation in 2013. He was then posted to Brisbane where he completed his FRACGP in 2016.
He is passionate about sports medicine and is currently completing a PostGraduate Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine through the University of Otago. He is a current serving full-time member of the Australian Army employed as a Medical Officer and is the currently appointed team doctor for the Men and Women’s Australian Army and combined ADF Rugby League teams. He is also a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner and can complete Pilot medicals.
He has a young family with his baby daughter Arabella a popular PFMC member!
Dr Muneer Mohamed Ariff

Interests : Mental Health, Work Cover, Paediatrics, Travel Medicine, Dermatology, Emergency Medicine, Musculoskeletal Medicine, intenatal care
Dr. Muneer graduated from Manipal University, India in 2007 and worked as an Emergency Department Resident Medical Officer in Sri Lanka till 2012. He migrated to Sydney, Australia in 2012 and joined Campbelltown & Camden Hospitals as a Career Medical Officer.
During his time at Campbelltown & Camden Hospitals he worked in the Department of Emergency Medicine and was a Member of the Australian College of Emergency Medicine. He completed his Certificate in Emergency Medicine in 2016.
Dr. Muneer also had the opportunity to work as a Career Medical Officer in the Department of Psychiatry (Mental Health) during his time at Campbelltown Hospital.In February 2017, Dr. Muneer stepped into the field of General Practice and has been a registrar at Picton Family Medical Centre as part of the AGPT programme. He is focused on serving the Wollondilly region population with their health requirements and looks forward to establishing his future practice in the region.
He can communicate in 5 languages and enjoys cricket.
Dr Georgia Carins
General PractitionerQualifications: FRACGP, MBBS (U.Syd), DCH, BApp.Sc (Physiotherapy)
Interests: women’s health, child health/paediatrics, musculoskeletal medicine, travel medicine, mental health, chronic disease, aged care.
Prior to graduating from medicine at the University of Sydney in 2010, Georgia studied and worked as a physiotherapist in rehabilitation for years. As a junior doctor Georgia worked in both Wollongong and Darwin where she particularly enjoyed Emergency medicine. She then embarked on general practice training working in a broad range of general practice settings across Sydney.
Georgia a enjoys the diversity general practice offers and the opportunity it offers to work collaboratively with patients in managing their long term health needs. In 2015 Georgia completed a diploma of Child Health.
Outside of work Georgia has a young family keeping her busy. She likes camping with her children,picnics and podcasts.
Dr Julie Park
Qualifications: BBMSc, MBBS, DipCH
Dr Park graduated from the University of Western Sydney School of Medicine in 2014. She had previously completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University.
After graduating from medical school, she completed her internship and residency at Blacktown and Concord Hospitals.
Throughout her junior medical training she has worked in rural communities of NSW including Bathurst and Broken Hill where she began to appreciate rural medicine.
She has joined the PFMC family in early 2020 and is currently working as GPT3 Registrar. She is interested in women’s health, mental health and paediatrics.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her partner and they enjoy camping, going to the beach and travelling together.

Dr Corinne Fulford
Qualifications: MBBS (University medallist, Hons, Western Sydney University)
Dr Fulford was born and raised in the Wollondilly region and is very excited to be starting her general practice training as part of the PFMC team and servicing the Wollondilly community.
Corinne graduated from Western Sydney University Medical School with first class honors in 2016. Since then she has completed her internship and 2 years of residency at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals including experience in Oncology, Paediatrics, Women’s and pregnancy health and Palliative medicine.
Pursuing her interest in family and paediatric medicine she is currently undertaking the Child Health Program with Sydney University.
In her free time she enjoys hiking and card making and hopes to finally learn how to sing.

Dr Stuart Murray
Qualifications: MBBS (U.Syd), BSc (Hons), Dip Child Health
Dr. Murray graduated from the University of Sydney School of Medicine in 2015 and joined the PFMC team in 2020 to commence his GP specialist training. He had previously studied at Simon Fraser University where he graduated with an Honors degree in Cell and Molecular Biology in addition to Psychology. Since then he has worked at a variety of jobs including as a Lab Technician and Business Analyst.
He completed his internship and residency at Westmead Hospital, whilst completing his Diploma of Childs Health.
He then went on to do further training in paediatrics at Orange Hospital as a Senior Resident Medical Officer.
