Dr Dana Slape
We are ecstatic to introduce Dr Dana Slape a local UWS, Campbelltown graduate who spent time at Picton Family Medical Centre on a placement in 2011 during MIC, which was the highlight of her rotation. She has completed her specialisation at the Australasian College of Dermatologists and focused on working in South West Sydney where there is a significant need for dermatology care.
Outside private dermatology, Dr Slape provides a visiting service to the Northern Territory (Royal Darwin and Katherine Hospitals) and Justice Health (Long Bay and Silverwater prisons).
Dr Slape is a staff specialist in dermatology at Campbelltown and Liverpool Hospitals with admitting rights and regular clinics twice weekly with a team of registrars I support.
Dr Slape is available for to assist our patients from newborn through to advanced age with:
- Skin checks and surgery including for melanoma, SCC/BCC, and other lesions of concern
- Roaccutane for treatment refractory or severe acne
- Inflammatory dermatoses like eczema, psoriasis, contact allergy, autoimmune skin disease
- Intersection between dermatology and complex systemic disease and psych comorbidities
This is a privately billed service with an initial consult fee of $250 ($200 pensioner/HCC)
Procedures cost more due to equipment and time required and can be discussed with Dr Slape. A GP referral is required to see Dr Slape and to obtain the Medicare rebate.

Dr Marie Ooi
Qualifications: MBBS BSc (Med) FRACP Gastroenterologist
Dr Ooi is a Consultant Gastroenterologist. Her interests include investigation and care of abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic diarrhoea, severe constipation, faecal incontinence, inflammatory bowel disease, nutrition, hepatology and hepatobiliary/pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
Dr Ooi is an accredited diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatograpy (ERCP) with the Conjoint Committee. She has visiting rights at Campbelltown Private Hospital where she charges zero gap for colonoscopies and gastroscopies.
Dr Goran Stevans
Qualifications: Dr.Med. FRANZCP M. Psychiatry
Dr Goran Stevans commenced psychiatric training in 2006 at Westmead and Cumberland Hospitals. During training he also worked at Royal North Shore, St John of God Hospital in Richmond, and at Justice Health as part of the NSW Correctional System. Prior to his psychiatric training, Dr Stevans had 8 years of medical experience, 3 years of which was in general practice and several years spent in rural Australia in Dubbo NSW and Rockhamption QLD. Dr Stevans speaks fluent Macedonian, Serbian, Croation and is conversant in Bulgarian.
Dr Stevans is a general psychiatrist and has an interest in the psychological and pharmalogical treatment of:
- mood disorders such as depression and bipolar affective disorder
- anxiety disorders including panic disorder, social phobia, OCD and PTSD
- perinatal mental health
- substance abuse disorders
- eating disorders
- adult ADHD
- dealing with grief and loss
- psychiatric medico-legal reports
- NSW Work Cover (trained assessor of permanent impairment)
Dr Stevans believes in a holistic approach to the treatment of pyschological conditions and strongly advocates for a healthy lifestyle as part of overall management. The involvement of the family plays a central part in the understanding and treatment of mental health conditions.
Dr Meena Rattan
PaediatricianDr Rattan is a general paediatrician with special interest in neurodevelopmental and behavioural paediatrics. She has worked in Campbelltown hospital and serving the local community of Wollondilly for the past two years. She is also linked with department of psychological medicine at Children Hospital Westmead.
She deals with children including neonates and adolescents .Her passion is providing quality care of to her patients and families. She is dedicated to use her knowledge and skillset to ensure positive outcomes for the local community, at affordable costs.
